Following an article in the Bradley Stoke Matters Magazine, The Bradley Stoke Small Business Forum met for the first time at the beginning of 2007. Since then the group has grown steadily, and now meets every month.
Apart from acting as a voice for the small business community in Bradley Stoke, members of the new business forum discuss common problems and solutions to day to day issues that affect all those running their own enterprises, from those working at home alone, to small and larger firms.
The group’s mission statement is:
“To help create prosperity for its members by providing business
and networking opportunities both locally and nationally. In this way
we hope to raise awareness of the advantages of Bradley Stoke as a place
to work and reside, and to improve the economic structure of the town.”
The group has its own website www.bssbf.co.uk, and guest speakers are invited to talk about a wide range of business-related issues.
New members are welcome – any local business person is welcome as a guest for a few sessions without obligation.
Meetings are held in the Bradley Stoke area on the second Monday of every month from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Please refer to our What’s On Diary for full details of the next meeting.
If you run any type of business and would like to find out more or
