Bradley Stoke Community Radio Association (BSCRA) – More Volunteers Needed!

BSCRA were at the Bradley Stoke Festival on the 12th June to conduct interviews and raise awareness of the new station. Stephen Poole, BSCRA Chairman, said; “The aims of the organisation are to enable members of the community to participate in all aspects of radio broadcasting. To build community spirit, create an identity for the town and improve civic pride.

In line with developing community involvement, the BSCRA are working towards a broadcast date of early October. But, this will not be possible unless more volunteers step forward to help make this happen.

There are many areas to get involved in apart from presenting,” said Mr Poole. “We have opportunities in Administration, Advertising, Community Engagement, and Grant Applications, IT, Marketing and PR, Production, Programming, Technical Support, Training and of course we need Guests, Advertisers, Supporters and Members as well.

If you were interviewed by one of the BSCRA team, or want to learn more about Bradley Stoke fm then log on to www.bradleystokeradio.org.uk for podcasts, contact forms and further information.
