Introducing Jacob Wain, New Youth Minister for Bradley Stoke Parish

Bradley Stoke & Little Stoke Gifford Matters was pleased to catch up with the newly appointed Youth Minister for the Parish of Bradley Stoke for our April/May edition of Bradley Stoke Matters.  Jacob Wain comes to Bradley Stoke after time spent in Hong Kong.  Jacob told us …

“I’m really excited to be the new Youth Minister for the churches of Bradley Stoke Parish, working for Christ the King and Holy Trinity Churches. I come to Bradley Stoke from working as a youth worker in Hong Kong – so from one adventure in a big city to my new adventure here!

“I had some amazing experiences in Hong Kong, including taking part in a mission trip to the Philippines and training in Malaysia. I love travel and new experiences so made the most of my time there by visiting the Great Wall of China or riding Elephants through the jungle in Thailand. So, the past few years have been a real adventure. An adventure which has now led me to Bradley Stoke! So I’m settling in and getting to grips with our wonderful youth and children’s groups, all of which are open to all. If you have any children or young adults then please do bring them along, to meet us and enjoy being part of our awesome groups!”

Paul Hinckley, Vicar of Bradley Stoke Parish: “It’s great to have Jacob on the team to serve our churches and town. When we launched our parish partnership last year we did so on the basis of seeking the prosperity of our town – being good news to the people and communities of Bradley Stoke and Little Stoke. We see appointing Jacob to this new role of Youth Minister as a key part of living out this commitment. We are thrilled by Jacob’s first month with us and all the promise his appointment brings. Our thanks to all who have made his role in Bradley Stoke possible.”
