Marking 100 Years of the Battle of Passchendaele

Stoke Gifford Branch of the Royal British Legion, (RBL), which covers Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke, Filton and Bradley Stoke, held a service, Monday the 31st July 2017, to mark the centenary of the start of the Battle of Passchendaele, (also know as the Third Battle of Ypres).
 
The service was held at the Stoke Gifford War Memorial on the Green at Stoke Gifford at 7 am.
The Battle of Passchendaele started on the 31st of July 1917 and lasted until 10th November, 1917.
