Support Your Local Town Team as season draws to a close

BRADLEY STOKE TOWN FC – Season Update

by Club Chairman Ian Drew

Whilst our season is in full flow our players continue to enjoy their football.  Our First team stands well placed in 2nd position being well chased for promotion by Shirehampton and Cribbs A. Keep it going Lads.  We’re hopeful that by the end of the season all of our teams have played a positive role in shaping the divisions for the 2017 / 2018 season.

Our Reserves are also well placed for promotion, being Managed by Mr Matt Burch his experience in these matters will surely see the ‘Ressies’ promoted.

Our Third (or A) Team presently lie 8th of 11 in their division, with still a lot to play for. The A team historically always have a good end of season winning run. Let’s hope it continues.

Presently top of the goal scoring chart is Sam Peplow with 16 goals, closely followed by Adam Hay, Liam Platts, Chris Hughes & Steve Johnson.  Top of the assists list is Luke Johnson being chased by Paul Smith & Tom Dawes.

The remaining few games of the season now become serious (!). The First team have 2 remaining home games at the GFA, 25th March & 8th April. Please come along to the GFA, entry is free, @ 5.30pm and support your local team in yet another promotion push.

The Reserves have their final home game on 1st April, 2.30pm @ Jubilee Centre.

The A team have 3 home games 25th March, 8th & 15th April. Again at the Jubilee Centre @ 2.30.

Even if you do not stay for the whole match your support is appreciated.

Our season should finish on 29th April with the A team away to Hillfields.

Our ever faithful Veterans team are in the southern section of the Glos Veterans League, their season starts late, they presently stand mid-table……..come on you Vets.

We would like to thank our sponsors for their continued support, especially
