Network Counselling and Training
Trustee post - Unpaid position
Minimum time commitment: four 2 hour meetings a year.
Network Counselling and Training is a large and well-established voluntary counselling and training agency which has been in existence for over twenty five years. It delivers a high quality professional counselling service to clients in Bristol and surrounding areas. It also delivers a unique university-validated Higher Education counselling training programme which is specifically designed to equip counsellors to work with the spiritual dimension of human experience.
The organisation is an ecumenical Christian community with an inclusive Christian ethos. It is about to move into an exciting new phase of its development which includes purchasing its own premises and expanding the range of services it provides to both clients and students.
Consequently, the organisation is seeking to expand its Board of Trustees through recruiting a number of people who would be interested in supporting its work and contributing to its further development.
No special knowledge or expertise is necessary, and Network is eager to attract applicants from diverse backgrounds and with diverse life experiences. The organisation is, however, particularly interested in attracting Trustees who have experience in business or commercial fields; in law, accountancy, education or the caring professions; in pastoral care; and in working with marginalized or disadvantaged groups. For more information without obligation, please contact Bert Weenink, Head of Operations at Network, on 0117 9507271.
