Southern Brooks Community Partnership is a registered charity providing a range of services for children, families and young people across the communities of Bradley Stoke, Filton, Patchway and Stoke Gifford
We currently have a vacancy for a Family Support worker, to work within our Family Services team.
We work in partnership with a range of agencies to provide support for vulnerable families who dont meet the thresholds of other services. The main aim of the post is to work alongside families to help them make positive changes in their lives.
You will have
NVQ Level 4 or equivalent or extensive relevant experience in a similar or related post
Thorough understanding of the integrated approach to the delivery of services for parents and their children
Ability to establish and maintain positive and consistent relationships with parents, carer, children and other professionals
Willingness to learn new skills
Understanding of the need for discretion, tact and confidentiality at all times
A driving license and access to a car
Ability to work outside of regular working hours
Excellent communication skills
Good ICT skills
