1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses for BSTFC this Weekend
November 19th, 2012
All 4 BSTFC teams had games this weekend which is very rare for the club.
The 1st Team played at home against AEK Boco Reserves, with AEK Boco having the better possession in the first half. BSTFC took control in the second half but unfortunately the only goal of game came for the away side. A strike by the AEK Boco player took a massive deflection and looped over Hornets keeper Brendan Wilson.
The Reserves travelled to play Wick ‘A’ in a game in which they felt they should have won they had to settle with a 2-2 draw. Defenders Kevin Grey and Jason Lee scoring the goals for the Hornets.
The A Team travelled to Stanton Drew Reserves where they were defeated 3-2 with goals coming from Craig Tucker and the on form Sam Cleaver
The B Team played in the Jack Jenkins Trophy against Wanderers Reserves. A Sean Watts hat-trick helped inspire the Hornets side to a 3-1 win, in a game which also saw Hornets keeper Thomas Partleton saving a Wanderers penalty when the game was still finely balanced at 1-0.
