A big Thank You from Stoke Gifford Royal British Legion

Stoke Gifford RBL are proud to announce that the 2022 poppy appeal for our region has collected the amazing amount of £62,898.97.

Despite the current hardship, people have been incredibly generous this year, and will be noticed by all those whom the RBL help. This amazing amount of money will enable the RBL to support veterans, serving personnel and their families all across the country!

We really appreciate the hard working efforts of all the volunteers who manned our Poppy stalls across the local area, giving up some of their free time. Thank you also to all the retail outlets and Parkway Railway Station who supported the appeal once again, allowing us to set up our stalls.

Our Poppy Appeal Organisers need a mention for all their exceptional hard work. Organising and liaising with retail outlets across our area, as well as delivering collecting pots to shops, pubs and clubs. And after the appeal, our team spent numerous days counting all those kindly donated pennies!

As we begin another year, the branch is organising social events for members and we would like to invite anyone who would like to get involved with this great cause and meet new people to contact Billy Wilde, Branch VC on 07874 895 993.
