A Growing Bradley Stoke Town FC Launches 4th Team
November 3rd, 2011
Bradley Stoke Town Football Club is delighted to announce that a fourth team, Bradley Stoke Town B has been officially launched. Club Secretary Nick Potter said, We have never had so many players who want to play their grassroots football with Bradley Stoke Town. We were so inundated that we had to give birth to the new team to accommodate the numbers who registered. We provide a well structured Club in which good players can become great players and in turn we foster and nurture their talent. We love the fact we are attractive to players who want to come and play with us and we now boast signings from across the city .
Bradley Stoke Town FC has become an integral part of the town since being founded in 2005. There are now four senior teams; 1St s, Reserves, A & B Teams. They play their home games at the Jubilee Centre, where the pitches are provided and maintained by the local council. The club’s ethos is to provide a friendly atmosphere for members to enjoy their football, to foster loyalty, encourage and reward effort, as well as promoting the town and the local community of Bradley Stoke. They have also forged ties with Bradley Stoke Youth FC to encourage the oldest members to join, but with four teams representing the Club, they are always on the lookout for new players to help improve the quality of the squad from across Bristol. At all their home matches the ‘Hornets Nest Clubhouse’ is open from 4pm for Players, Spectators and Members of the Public to enjoy varied refreshments at a favourable price in a convivial atmosphere.
The new Bradley Stoke Town B Team will be managed by Mark Wilkes and Chris Laslett – both current players who have been internally promoted to drive the new B Team forward. The squad will play their matches in the Bristol & Avon Division 1.
