Archeology in the Park
July 15th, 2010A fabulous FREE family event taking place this Sunday, 18 July in Little Stoke Park from 11am to 4pm. Come and learn about the past in the local area and see what archeologists do with a range of archaeological demonstrations and activities, including metalworking (bronze smithing) – making bronze swords, flint knapping, birds of prey displays, historic cooking, WW2 tent, young archaelogists club, talk and exhibitions. Take a look at some ancient artefacts or even bring along your own for identification!
