Ambourne House gains their Montessori certification
March 4th, 2026We are delighted with the positive start we have made to the new term.
Our staff team began with an inspiring INSET day, where they strengthened their Montessori knowledge and reflected on how to embed this more deeply into their daily practice and the preparation of the environment.
We are also very proud to share that we have achieved our Montessori certification, which is the first important step towards full accreditation and
reflects our commitment to providing an authentic Montessori education. It has been a busy and joyful term for the children, who are happy, engaged, and eager to learn.
They have explored a range of meaningful topics and celebrations, including Chinese Lunar New Year and Pancake Day, while also learning about transport and space. Our Preschool and Kindergarten children enjoyed an exciting visit to the Aerospace Museum, our babies had a lovely trip to the park, and we were proud to visit our local nursing home, helping children build connections with the wider community. There is so much more to look forward to as we continue our learning journey together, with a focus on the changing season and the many opportunities that spring will bring.
