Bradley Stoke 10k Report by Jenny Dalby, 10K race chair

Sole Sisters hosted the Bradley Stoke 10k event again this year on the 9th June. We had 569 entries for the race, with 483 competitors across the finish line of the refreshed course. Our first male runner, Marcus Dunford, stormed the course in 32 mins 40 seconds, followed by our first female runner, Bradley stoke resident Freya Bradley, in 35 mins and 16 seconds.

This event would not be possible without the amazing support of the Bradley Stoke Town Council, local residents, guides, brownies and rainbow groups, and the Evangelical church who kindly manned the first water station from their premises. We have an excellent marshalling and support team of around 90 people out on the course and at HQ, who received terrific feedback from entrants and spectators. It makes all the months of planning worthwhile!  Next year we hope to organise the event again as it will be our 20th year of hosting the event.
