BRADLEY STOKE CHILDREN RAISE MONEY FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

TeddyTea3SpottySuperhero3Children at the Mama Bear ’s Day Nursery and Pre-Schools in Bradley Stoke have had a sponsored Pyjama Day and made cakes to raise money for Children in Need.

Both nurseries on Bailey ’s Court and Great Park Road took part in the fun day during which children dressed in their favourite pjs or onesie.

Managers at the settings also planned a cake and biscuit sale to raise additional funds for the cause.

Claire Beaumont-Wraith from Mama Bear ’s Day Nursery said: “We are great supporters of Children in Need every year and each one of our nurseries is taking part in their own unique activities to raise money for the charity.

“It ’s a great event for the children to get involved in and, of course, a fantastic cause to support. Last year we raised almost £4000 so we ’re hoping to get to that fantastic figure again. ”

A series of activities have been planned by the nursery group across the South West, including a sponsored danceathon, teddy bear ’s picnic, treasure hunt, bake off and superhero day,   with funds raised going to those less fortunate.
