Bradley Stoke Community School achieves the Bullying Intervention Group BIG Award

bully2bully1We are delighted to announce that Bradley Stoke Community School has achieved the Bullying Intervention Group BIG Award for excellence in challenging bullying. Bradley Stoke Community School has an excellent anti-bullying policy, involving pupils/students in all of the anti-bullying strategies and has a whole school approach to challenging bullying.

Val McFarlane, Director of BIG said “Bradley Stoke Community School really deserves the BIG Award. They have worked hard with exceptional and innovative strategies to make their school a safer, happier place where the students/pupils can learn and reach their full educational potential without fear of harassment and bullying.” The school has a peer support scheme, regular staff training and awareness raising activities throughout the year to ensure that all pupils and their parents have confidence in the school’s ability to protect them. The school will have to re-apply for the BIG Award each year to show consistency of goodpractice.
