Bradley Stoke Farmers Market Launched

Local shoppers were pleased to see the first of Bradley Stoke’s Farmers and Artisans Markets, which took place in the Town Square at the Willow Brook Centre today. The market is a Town Council initiative, supported by the Willow Brook Centre and operated on behalf of the council by a local contractor.

Stallholder Nadine, who runs Snowdrop Cottage Cakes and Preserves, said local people had shown a great interest in the variety of stalls, and had enjoyed browsing, sampling and buying local produce.

Stallholders all live nearby and the produce from the market comes directly from local fields, ovens, kitchens and nurseries.

The next Farmers and Artisans Markets are due to take place at the same place on Wednesday 10th November and Wednesday 11th December, 10am to 3pm. Dates and times are subject to possible change so please keep an eye on our ‘what’s on’ diary for details closer to the time.
