Bradley Stoke Keralite Carol Service Brought Festive Spirits
December 24th, 2010
The Christmas Carol Service held under the auspices of the Bradley Stoke Keralite Community brought festive spirit to the community and rejuvenated its unity and devotion.
Inspite of the adverse weather conditions, the Carol team holding the Bible and the venerated grace-giving statue of Child Jesus spreading the tidings of joy and love visited a large number of Keralite homes in Bradley Stoke. The Fellowship also celebrated birthdays of all community members born in December by cutting the Cake and offering special prayers. George Tharakan dressed up as Santa distributed presents and sweets. Biju Jose led the prayer service and Nisha George piloted the carol songs. Stani Devasia, Dennis Sebastian, Rajesh Joseph, Shaji Scaria, Reynold, Roy Joseph, Jijo Thomas, Binoy Mani and Bobby Simon led the service at various locations.
Coordinator Tom Aditya delivered the Christmas message and thanked everyone for making the carol service a great success. The carol team exhorted the community members to actively participate in the Syro Malabar Midnight Mass at St Joseph’s Church Fishponds on the 24th of December and for the New Year celebrations at the Southmead Greenway Centre on the 8th of January.
