Bradley Stoke Ladies FC – Your Local Ladies Football Club

With over 20 players signed on this season the club is still going strong, giving a big group of women and young girls the chance to play football in the local area, in a competitive league.

Fixtures started 5th September 2021 and will be played until 1st May due to weather postponements that have got in the way but with 11 teams in division 3 it has been a long but fun season, without many covid issues. Back to normality.

At the time of writing this article, the team currently sits at the top of the table in division 3 of the Gloucestershire County Womens League with 4 games left to go. By the time this is published the title may have or may not have been won – check our social media pages for more info on the latest updates. Have the ladies got it in them to win the title?!

  • 23rd January (league cup first round) – Whitchurch & Bristol (H) 3-2 win.
  • 6th March (league cup second round) – Cirencester Town (H) 0-0. Lost 3-2 on penalties.

Next Season Plans

The team hopes to get promoted back to division 2 next season and title dependent this seems very likely at the moment. Manager Martin Lee has been really impressed with the progress and confidence from everyone this season and hopes to carry that into next season when the ladies are likely facing tougher opposition.

A big thank you again to our sponsors for their support all of this season. We’d also like to give a shout out to Baileys Court Inn for providing us with food and a reserved area after home games!
