Bradley Stoke Sports Day a Great Success

With thanks to the Bradley Stoke Town Council, the Friends of Jubilee Green and Stokes Cycling Club were able to host a completely FREE Community Sports Day, at the Jubilee Centre last weekend.

The afternoon consisted of many activities, including an assault course, a bike assault course, tug of war, a slow bike race, a sack race and an ‘on your bike’ egg and spoon race! Children of all ages (and some parents) joined in the activities, with prizes given to the winners which were donated by Bike Fix Bradley Stoke and Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre.

Inside the Jubilee Centre you could make your own medals, sea creatures and rosettes and enjoy a FREE tuck shop provided by Holy Trinity Church.

The children especially enjoyed the option to ‘bling’ their bike, which they were able to show off at the end of the day with a bike parade.

Friends of Jubilee will be hosting another event in September, so watch this space!
