Bradley Stoke suffer 5 wicket defeat to Almondsbury

Bradley Stoke 1sts took on Almondsbury at the pavilion ground. After losing the toss and being put into bat by the visitors, the home side struggled to 112 all out within 30 of the scheduled 45 overs.   Youngster Sam Wentland top scored with 40 for BS. Bradley Stoke went out looking for early wickets to put the visitors under pressure but dropped 4 catches to let the opposition of the hook. Almondsbury eventually cruised home for the win with 5 wickets to spare.

The 2nds had a more successful weekend defeating Almondsbury 2nd s by 98 runs. Paul Peterson top scored for the 2nd week in a row contributing 66 to Bradley Stokes 230 for 6.   After a decent start from Almondsbury,    they struggled to keep up with the run rate and eventually batted out there overs to end 132/9 with Chris Phillips returning figures of 10/3.

The 3rd team recorded their 2nd win of the season beating Bitton A by 44 runs at Bradley Stoke School whilst the fourths league match at Pucklechurch was called off.
