Bradley Stoke Town Council Pays Tribute to Town Councillor Anthony Griffiths

Bradley Stoke Town Council is saddened to learn of the passing of serving Town Councillor Anthony Griffiths who passed away suddenly over the weekend.
Anthony was originally elected to Bradley Stoke Town Council in May 2011 representing Primrose Bridge Ward and served as a Town Councillor for twelve years. During his term of office, he served as Mayor/Chair of Council for two terms (2020-2021 and 2022-2023).
In March 2025, he was re-elected through a by-election to once again represent the local residents of Primrose Bridge.
The Mayor of Bradley Stoke, Councillor Jenny James expressed her condolences:
“On behalf of Bradley Stoke Town Council Councillors and staff, I wish to send heartfelt condolences to Cllr Tony’s family, friends and the residents of Primrose Bridge. I know he worked hard and was dedicated to them. My thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.”
