pic1Bristol based speaker Julian Okoye made the National Final of the Professional Speaking Association s  prestigious  annual Speaker Factor competition held in London over the weekend.

Julian Okoye, father of 3 from Bradley Stoke won the PSA Wales regional title in Cardiff earlier on in the year and earned a place in the national semi-finals. Competing in the semi-finals against 10 other regional winners from as far away as Scotland and Ireland, Julian was one of only 5 to win a coveted place to speak in the Finals on the main stage of the PSA Mega Fusion conference.

In what was described as one of the most competitive finals in years, Julian delivered a captivating speech and narrowly missed out on top spot.     Julian said “It was an amazing experience and an honour to speak to an audience of professional speakers.   Even more amazing was the number of people that came up to me after the event and said they were personally touched by my story ”.

In his award winning speech Julian tells a dramatic story about a fight in Cardiff which made him take a step back and ask himself serious questions about his life and whether he had settled for a” pretty good” life rather than being the best he could be.

Julian is a professional speaker who seeks to inspire, entertain and empower audiences with lessons from life, sport and business.
