Local cheerleading group ‘Predators’ swept the board on Sunday (16th Feb) at the LG Arena Birmingham at a Future Cheer ‘Heart of England’ competition. The competition almost did not happen as it was to be held at Worcester University but due to the floods teams could not get there so Future Cheer staff rearranged it to Arena with only 4 days to go.

Predators senior co-ed team Vipers level 4 came 1st place and Grand Champions (beating all squads with the highest score). They beat some of the top teams in the UK, firmly putting Predators from Bristol on the cheerleading map!

Predators other teams Venom and Leopards came 1st with Huskies and the little Cubs coming in 6th place.

The athletes come from all over Bristol to cheer for Predators and ages start from 4 upwards. Training sessions take place at Winterbourne and Southmead.  To find out more about joining Bristol’s most successful team visit  http://www.predatorscheer.co.uk/
