Britain’s Got Talent Finalist to Perform to Help Local Student
September 20th, 2010
Emily Baber is is 16 years old and attends Bradley Stoke Community School. Next July, Emily is going to South India on a World Challenge. (Matters Magazines is also supporting Emma’s fellow students Joel Ip and Sam Beaumont – see story on this site back in August or the July/August & Sept editions of Matters Magazines). It will be a testing time for Emily but one she is determined to see through.
To go on the Expedition Emily needs to raise £3,000 which is an awful lot of money in the current climate. To date, Emily has raised a fantastic £1,300. She has done bag packing at Tesco’s in Bradley Stoke, baked and sold cakes locally, designed leavers hoodies and then sold them at Bradley Stoke Community School. Emily also organised and ran a Key Stage 1 disco at Baileys Court Primary School which was an outstanding success. She has done fantastically well but needs more help…
Paul Burling, a finalist of Britain’s Got Talent (Harry Hill Impersonator) lives in Bradley Stoke. He doesn’t know Emily but has very kindly agreed to perform at Esporta in Stoke Gifford, Bristol on Saturday 2nd October 2010 to enable Emily to help achieve Her dream. There is also going to be a Horse Racing Night and a Disco afterwards at the fundraising event. It will be fun!
The tickets are £10 per person and all proceeds will go directly to Emily’s fantastic cause. Due to limited space its an Adult only evening. Tickets can be organised by calling Julia Prewett on 07970 619191, or from Kelly Baber who works in the office at Baileys Court Primary School.
