BSCS ‘Off-Timetable’ DayJanuary 13th, 2016
Bradley Stoke Matters was delighted to hear from students at Bradley Stoke Community School this afternoon, who made contact to share with us the numerous activities undertaken ‘off timetable’ today. Every term the whole school has a day off from their usual timetabled activities and instead experience fun educational trips and activities.
Today, Year 7 boys had sports literacy with a visit from England cricketers, Olympian sportsmen and Bristol Rovers players whilst Year 7 girls completed STEM activities. Year 8 went out of school to visit various places of worship whilst Year 9 took part in a Dragons Den business challenge day. Year 10 stayed behind at school and concentrated on their option blocks whilst mock interviews with local employers were held at school for the year 11s who then went on to visit a local university or college.
All in all it sounds like a very busy day which, by the look of the photos we’ve been sent, was also very enjoyable!
