BSYFC U7’s still on a roll – Final Score 9-2 Win!

In the mud but still playing well! The local derby saw BSYFC U7’s v Bradley Stoke United .. which is always a tight close game between these two clubs.

First game squad was:  Alex Horne ‚ (GK),  Caiden Wakefield,  Fletcher Taylor,  Harrison Mortlock,  Ethan Robinson,  Callum Scriven,  Alex Bridges ‚ and playing their first games for the club  Adrian Arrivabene  and  Jagger Western.
Second game squad was:  Alex Bridges  (GK),  Jem Baker,  Cameron Low,  Joel North,  Curtis Pope,  Theo Woodward,  Ben Herring,  Archie Weatherhead ‚ and playing their first game for the club ‚  Daniel Kingsley. The first game started and after 6 mins ‚  Callum Scriven ‚ getting the ball from the goal kick crashed in the first goal. Then after 8 mins and Callum doing exactly the same thing scored number two. Then there was a lot of huffing and puffing before after 18 mins Callum scored our and his third goal 3-0 at half-time. Into second half and after 6 mins United got a goal back before ‚  Jagger Western ‚ smacked the ball in for 4-1. Then just 4 mins later he volleyed high into the net for 5-1. Then after 18 mins United scored again for a final score of 5-2.
Ethan Robinson ‚ did some strong running today,  Alex Horne ‚ in goal again performed really well with some strong kicking,  Harrison Mortlock ‚ did some good defending and held his position better, Caiden Wakefield in defence looked strong, Fletcher Taylor did some good work all around the pitch,  Adrian Arrivabene  was tackling well and had some good runs and Alex Bridges was strong in defence with some crunching tackles.

The second game started and after 7 mins  Joel North  scored with a low shot. Then 3 mins later Joel scored again and then after 14 mins he tapped in his third for a half-time score of 3-0. The second half was a lot of effort and close calls but we could not getthe ball in the net until after 19 mins  Jem Baker  made a run through to slot the ball in the far bottom corner for 4-0.

Alex Bridges  in goal made two very brave stops to keep the clean sheet,  Ben Herring  was strong in defence,  Curtis Pope  was tackling strong,  Theo Woodward  was making some great runs and was unlucky not to score with several efforts on goal,  Cameron Low  was getting around the pitch with purpose and style,  Daniel Kingsley  was getting the tackles in and  Archie Weatherhead  was buzzing around the pitch looking dangerous.
MoM for the first game was  Callum Scriven  for his effort, determination and scoring some great goals.
MoM for second game was  Cameron Low  for his running with the ball, his passing of the ball and his defending.
