Carol Service with a Difference at Amberley Road

This year Amberley Road Baptist Church is joining forces with the Family Support Team at Southern Brooks Community Partnership to make Christmas better for some poorer families in our area.

During their carol service this coming Sunday they will take a collection to raise as much money for them as they can. However, they will also be collecting tinned meat, fish and vegetables, rice and pasta along with jam, pickles, preserves, confectionery, Christmas puddings and mince pies. These items will be made up into Christmas hampers to be given to disadvantaged families in our community. Just adding one or two extra items to your shopping list and donating them will make a huge difference. Christmas is a time of hope – will you help us to give hope to a family living close to you?
