Christmas Hamper Appeal 2011 – Help Make a Difference Right Here, Right Now

Would you like to give something back to someone in your own Community, with an immediate benefit?

Southern Brooks Family Support Team are currently working with families in the area who find the financial strain of Christmas too much to bear and are looking for your help in their Christmas Hamper Appeal. They are looking for donations of tinned fish and meats, rice, pasta and other long life foods, as well as a few luxury items such as chocolates, mince pies and non-alcoholic drinks. No fresh goods or alcohol please! Your donations really do make a real difference and last year they were able to supply more than 15 hampers to local families.

Donations can be left at Rm 1 Patchway Community Centre, Rodway Road, or the Jubilee Centre, Bradley Stoke. The Willow Brook Centre is also hosting a collection point.

Closing date is 10th December 2010 in order to give the team time to put the hampers together and arrange delivery, although if you miss this date give Corrina a call as you may not be too late and your donation could still be readily accepted. All the families are so grateful (and often tearful), and it s the reason why this appeal is so important locally.
If you can help and would like more information or details of other donation points please contact Corrina on 01454 867076.
