Claire Hazelgrove MP speaking with residents at her ‘Pub Politics’ event.
March 18th, 2026Claire Hazelgrove, MP for the Filton and Bradley Stoke constituency, welcomed local residents to her latest ‘Pub Politics’ event at Bailey’s Court Inn in Bradley Stoke last Thursday, 12th March.
Alongside her regular ‘Coffee with Claire’ events, ‘Pub Politics’ is a fresh and informal way for residents to come together over a drink and chat about local and national issues in a relaxed environment.
Claire heard from and spoke with residents from across the constituency on a wide range of topics, including the NHS and transport.
With an aim of bringing people together across our community, Claire invited all local Councillors who represent Bradley Stoke, regardless of their political party, and was joined by a number of them, as well as those from elsewhere across the constituency.
Claire will be holding ‘Pub Politics’ events throughout the year. Those who are interested to hear more can do so by signing up for updates here: clairehazelgrove.co.uk/pub-politics.
Alongside this event, Claire is also hosting ‘Coffee with Claire’ centred on crime and anti-social behaviour together with Clare Moody, Avon and Somerset Police Crime Commissioner, this coming Saturday, 21st March, in Emersons Green. This event is open to anyone living in the Filton and Bradley Stoke constituency, and those interested can RSVP now at: clairehazelgrove.co.uk/cwc-crime. Claire Hazelgrove, MP for the Filton and Bradley Stoke constituency, said:
“Great to welcome fellow residents to my latest ‘Pub Politics’ event last night, this time at Baileys Court Inn in Bradley Stoke.
“Thank you to everyone who joined me, fellow residents and some of our local Councillors at my latest ‘Pub Politics’ event, this time at Bailey’s Court Inn in Bradley Stoke.
“Doing politics differently, alongside ‘Coffee with Claire’ and distinct from my advice surgeries, these informal events simply aim to bring people together across our community.
“These events are great way to meet new people and have a chat with me and each other in a welcoming environment – and support our great local pubs too. Thank you to the super team here for having us!
“In a time where, unfortunately, some seek to divide, I believe that coming together, listening to one another (whether we agree or not!) and focusing on some of the many things that unite us is all the more important. This will always be my approach as your MP.”
