Community Radio Station to entertain shoppers in Town Centre

Volunteers from Bradley Stoke Radio will be entertaining shoppers in The Willow Brook Centre on Saturday 3rd September. Since the launch of the station in June this year Bradley Stoke Radio has had a successful short broadcast on FM and since then have continued to broadcast online via their website bradleystokeradio.org.uk. To promote Bradley Stoke Radio s online schedule and free radio skills training courses starting in September the team will be at The Willow Brook Centre from 10 am – 4pm on Saturday 3rd September with their outside broadcast. There will be the chance to visit the station, make dedications and requests during the day or to just sit back and enjoy the music in one of the local restaurants at The Willow Brook Centre.

Bradley Stoke Radio training course starts from 10th September with courses available on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings. The course will include – introduction to radio, editing and production skills, interview skills, presenting skills and masterclasses from experienced presenters and producers from industry. The training is FREE to all members, membership costs just £5 per year ( £2.50 for concessions).
