Community Speed Watch – Volunteers Needed
January 31st, 2011
At the latest stronger and safer meeting, the issue of speeding in the Woodlands Lane area of Bradley Stoke was again raised by some residents and has been recorded as one of the current priorities. The police have therefore agreed to try and organise a community speed watch for this area and the team would again like to welcome contact from local residents to get involved.
Police require at least six people to volunteer to take part to get the project up and running. Despite this concern being an issue for the last 12 months or so, there has not been enough people coming forward to date to volunteer to help.
If you would like to assist in this community project please contact any member of our local Neighbourhood Policing team. For more information on Community Speed Watch visit this link to Speed Watch.
