Dance Crew Day for Teenagers this Half-Term

Bristol Academy of Performing Live Arts (BALPA) is set to open its doors in Thornbury s very own, state-of-the-art performing arts centre in September 2011, offering high quality, accredited arts training and exciting performance opportunities for the whole community.

To celebrate this, throughout 2011, BALPA are running various taster days for you to sample what is on offer through a selection of workshops. February brings the first of such workshops with a Dance Crew Day, where you can go along and meet Release, their exciting and innovative dance crew, and spend a day with them learning how to Street Dance. An opportunity not to be missed! The Dance Crew Day is on 22nd February, 10am-4pm at Caedmon Complex, Thornbury, for young people aged 11-16 and is £20 for the whole day.
