Discover Events at Winterbourne Library

Winterbourne Winds concert and Have a Go workshop Saturday 19 September 10:00am 12:00 noon Winterbourne Winds, formed by Avon Windband Association, is now nearly a year old! Members are either brand new beginners or returners who haven t played for a number of years. This will be a chance to hear them play as well as an opportunity to try out a wind instrument for yourself. No need to book, just drop-in and enjoy the music.

Silver Singalong Friday 25 September 2:00pm 3:00pm

Another chance to give your lungs a workout! We’ll be singing World War II songs, songs from the shows and songs you might have learnt at school. Free tickets are available at www.southglos.gov.uk/discover

Line Dancing with Laughter in Line Saturday 3 October 2.30-3.30

Line dancing: it’s fun, friendly and you don’t need a partner. Come and experience it for yourself at a short taster session at Winterbourne library.   It’s free and the library will provide a drink afterwards. Free tickets are available at www.southglos.gov.uk/discover

The library will be hosting a display of the beautiful and varied photographs taken by members of the Crossbow Camera Club from Saturday 12 September to Friday 25 September during library opening hours.
