Discover the ‘Discover Festival’ this Autumn

The Discover Festival is an exciting and diverse programme of events running until 4 November for all ages to discover something new in South Gloucestershire.  Discover, enjoy and learn about:

• local nature
• local heritage
• local food
• life age 50+
• your creativity

South Gloucestershire Discover Festival 2012 is organised by South Gloucestershire Council, local residents, community groups and businesses.

Most events are free and include:

• visit local historic places during Heritage Open Days including the Rolls Royce heritage collection
• explore the great outdoors through fungi forays and star gazing events
• discover great local produce at sampling, demonstration and Apple Day events
• celebrate age with a range of exciting activities from opera to bowls for the over 50s
• get creative and learn Chinese origami, jewellery making or portrait drawing
