Dunkley’s named as ‘Independent Firm of the Year: South-West’

On Wednesday 25th September, the nation’s top accountants gathered and celebrated in style at the British Accountancy Awards in London.
Organised by leading publication Accountancy Age, the awards recognise the best firms in the UK each year and celebrate excellence in the profession.
This year Bradley Stoke based accountancy firm, Dunkley’s Chartered Accountants were nominated for 3 awards; ‘Independent Firm of the Year: South-West, England’, ‘Outstanding Advisory’ and ‘Best Employer’.
As evident by their wide range of clients, extensive suite of services and professionalism, Dunkley’s continue to strive for excellence and being recognised for these awards is testament to that and the continued success of the firm.
With 3 nominations, hopes were high. Directors Lisa White and Matthew Dobbins alongside Client Partner, Natasha Miller attended the ceremony held at the Grosvenor in London last week.
Dunkley’s were delighted when they were declared the winners of the ‘Independent Firm of the Year: South-West, England’ award!
Lisa White explains what winning this award means for the business. ‘Winning such a prestigious award is a perfect time to thank every one of our employees for the commitment and hard work they give to the firm every day, without which none of this would be possible. We as a firm are continually striving to improve process and aim to always provide excellent client service. For this to be acknowledged at a National level is quite something and a reinforcement that the team are doing all the right things. We should all be very proud of what has been achieved.’
Matthew Dobbins also commented: ‘This award is a real testament to the team’s constant hard work and dedication to our clients. The calibre of the other entries was high so for us to be recognised in this way is incredible. Achievements such as this help us demonstrate to current and prospective clients that we deliver an excellent, professional and reliable service.’
This achievement proves that Dunkley’s are truly the ‘best in the South West’.
