Foodbank: Don’t Give Up- Give & Trolley Push 2013

Following on from our ‘Help Our Local Foodbank Please!  Published on the 22^nd February 2013, we would like to remind you, that there is still time to donate food to the North Bristol Foodbank at one of the local collection points:-

• Holy Trinity Church, Bradley Stoke (up to the 30^th March)
• St Chad s Primary School, Stoke Lodge
• Little Stoke Primary School, Little Stoke
• St Michael s Primary School. Stoke Gifford

Schools are open to receive donations in reception during school hours up to the break for Easter holidays on 22nd March. Please  visit them with much needed and appreciated goods from the shopping list.

In 2013  Foodbank are calling the people of the UK to join together to help feed the hungry in their communities by taking part in  the Foodbank Trolley Push!

The Foodbank Trolley Push will see people from across the UK raising funds and awareness for  their work as the trolley travels over 3,000 miles around the UK.   Starting in Salisbury, where the Trussell Trust was founded in 1997, the Trolley Push will take place during April and May 2013.  Foodbank would love you to help make it a success.

The Trolley Push arrives in North Bristol on the afternoon of Tuesday 9th April.  Foodbank will  start the trolley push at 1pm near Horfield Baptist Church on Gloucester Road (near the Horfield Prison) and finishing at 3pm at Orchard School, Filton Road, Horfield.

If you would like to take up the challenge to fundraise for ‘The Trolley Push 2013’ for the North Bristol Foodbank, then please contact the foodbank office, or, if you  woud like  to fundraise before the Trolley Push, Foodbank  would welcome you to join  them for short presentations and photo opportunities on the route.

Trussel Trust would like to encourage all schools in North Bristol to take the opportunity for a few children/young people to make presentations of funds raised at Orchard School at 3pm.
