Football Fever? Pre-season training starts at BSTFC

Fancy playing football and becoming part of the local Bradley Stoke town football club and teams?

Pre-season training starts on Tuesday 10th July at Patchway High School. Kick off is at 7 so make sure you’re there for 6:45 to get ready/quick warm up.
The session will be on grass so bring boots and shin pads, as well as some water and trainers for some running!

New players always welcome so come on down and get involved!

End of Season 2017/18 report –

The season came to end with all teams having some success.

The 1st team under Jon Welsh ended in a disappointing 6th place in the Bristol & District Senior Division.  However, it was the points they dropped prior to Christmas that cost them as since the New Year their points tally was good.  A rebuild and some new players are needed to add to the talented core of players at the club.  Matt Burch’s Reserve side just missed out on a second consecutive promotion and ended a close 3rd in Division 2 of the B&D league.

George Haskin’s and Luke Baker’s A Team had a good season and finished in 5th place, which is the highest place the club’s A team have ever achieved in B&D Division 5.  This has been a good season for them as they reached the semi-final of the cup and narrowly missed out on the final losing 2-1 to Stokeside.

BSTFC would like to thank all Bradley Stoke residents for their support this season, it is gratefully received.  We are always looking for new players so please regularly check our website and twitter feed for news, fixtures, results and club contacts http://www. pitchero.com/clubs/bradleystoketownfc

Training for next season will begin again from this month (10th July).   On Saturdays during the season we run a bar in the Jubilee Centre from 4.30 pm – 6 pm where you can warm up, watch the Football results and share the afternoon’s experiences!

Again support from the community has been fantastic with Bradley Stoke Matters sponsoring the First Team, Dunkleys Accountants the Reserves, The Filton Barbers the A Team and Pentagon Learning and Play sponsoring the clubs’ change of away kit.  if you are interested in any form of club sponsorship please use the BSTFC contacts via the club’s website.
