Knutty Knitters Casting on for Christmas

The Knutty Knitters will once again be displaying their life sized Knitivity at the Willow Brook Centre this December.

Last year, over £1,500 was collected in Bradley Stoke for St Peter s Hospice, the only adult hospice for the greater Bristol area.   St Peter s provides a range of services for patients with life-limiting illnesses, including care at home, counselling, social support, a 24-hour helpline and bereavement support, as well as medical care for those reaching the end of their lives.

The Knitivity will be on display at the Willow Brook centre from 11-13 December and is well worth a visit.   The figures will also be on view at the St Peter s Christmas Market, where the Knutty Knitters will be selling other creations, such as Christmas decorations and replica versions of the Knitivity at Bristol Grammar School on Saturday 28 November this year.   To date the ladies have raised an amazing £80,000 for St Peter s from selling their knitted goods, Christmas cards, collections and talks to community groups.
