Free Arts Festival

Matters Magazines is delighted to be supporting a first-of-its-kind free Arts Festival taking place at the end of April.

The event has been organised by local Arts Development Group, Arena – which was set up to promote the arts in Stoke Gifford, Bradley Stoke, Patchway and Filton. Thanks to funding from South Gloucestershire Council, Bradley SToke Town Council, Stoke Gifford Parish Council, Rolls Royce and John Lewis, there will be some fantastic workshops provided free of charge to all participants.

The workshops are diverse, with a classical concert orchestra sharing the same platform as a rock ‘n’ roll group, pre-school drama and puppet workshops. The aim of the day is to give people a broader understanding of the performing arts, and to be encouraged to take up an instrument or to join a dance group. All the workshops are being provided by local people who are professionally qualified musicians, dancers and teachers.

Advance booking is strongly advised. See here for full details.
