Free Summer Sports day of Olympic Proportion for Children 7-14
July 20th, 2012Local youngsters can participate in a selection of Olympic events for free, 30 and 31 July.
As part of the Government s National Citizenship Service (NCS) Project, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College is hosting two free sports days for children aged seven to 14 years of age at WISE Campus, Stoke Gifford.
This special two-day event takes place 30 and 31 July, 10:00 14:30. The days are free of charge and provide the opportunity to take part in a variety of different sporting activities, ranging from Athletics, Table Tennis, Basketball and more. Children can book for one and/or two dates.
The NCS project provides young people in Year 11 and 12 from all backgrounds, and with varying abilities, the opportunity and support to take on new challenges, learn new skills and make a difference. This sporting event will be a celebration of the completion of the NCS summer project.
