Fresh Air, Family Fun and Win an Easter Egg!
April 5th, 2011Young cyclists will love making Easter Sunday even more special this year with a family friendly Easter Egg hunt on two wheels. Starting from Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre the egg hunt takes in the best of the lovely cycle paths and tracks around the neighbourhood, through woods, past lakes and open fields. With a free water stop at MacDonalds, the ride has 33 clues to be solved before arriving at the finish post where the winners will be presented with their Easter Eggs, and there are lots of freebies to pick up as well.
The ride is on Easter Sunday, 24th April. Families can collect their entry forms/clue sheet from the start point at the Leisure Centre and set off any time between 0930 to 1200.
Entry is free and all ages are welcome. (Sorry kids – you have to bring your parents with you!) The route is tricycle and bike trailer friendly so that even the youngest in the family can take part. Marshalls will be at crossing points to ensure the safety of all participants.
The ride is being run by Stokes Cycling Club with the support of Better by Bike, South Gloucestershire Council, Tesco Extra at Bradley Stoke and Macdonalds. Further information available from Richard, ring 01454 616212 or [email protected]
