Fun Fair and Carnival Fun this Bank Holiday weekend

This weekend promises lots of family fun with a fun fair taking residence on the Jubilee Green, open to residents from 1pm-9pm Saturday and Sunday and from 11am-9pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

Also on Sunday the third of the Carnival preparation workshops will be taking placing at the Jubilee Centre from 11am-5pm.  These workshops are being run by experienced Carnival organisers and are open for any interested residents to drop in and may be learn a few Samba steps as well as joining in with the making of headdresses and masks to wear in the Carnival parade the following day.   There are some fantastic designs and many families have already signed up to join in the fun.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN IN!   Everybody of all ages is welcome.  Last week I met several families having a great messy time with sequins and glitter!  See photos below.

On Monday the Jubilee Centre will be open from 11am to prepare, with the parade setting off at 1pm and winding its way on foot through some of the paths and walkways around Bradley Stoke.
