Fun times at new look Specsavers Store

Bradley Stoke Matters was pleased to be invited along to the opening of the local Specsavers Store in the Willowbrook Centre following a state-of-the-art refit.

“We’re thrilled with the refurbishments here at Specsavers in Bradley Stoke,” says store director, Ed Stanleigh. “The customer experience has been revolutionised and that gives us a great reason to celebrate and raise even more funds for our charity partner, CLIC.’”

The face-lifted store hosted a fun day on Saturday 15th September, offering facepainting and photo opportunities with special guests, Belle and Spider-Man, to help towards the team’s goal of raising as much money as possible this year for their nominated children’s cancer charity.

The ribbon was cut by longest-serving staff member Terri Dean who started with the Bradley Stoke store two weeks before it opened back in 2009.  Terri told us “I started with Specsavers Bradley Stoke two weeks before the store opened.  Ed and myself were the only ones with any previous optical experience so those first two weeks were spent training.  It’s been great to have been a part of the store as it has grown and expanded.  The new refurbishment is fantastic.  There is now a much bigger waiting area, a new contact lens room, a much better booking-in system with Ipad pods.  We also have a frame styling App which is a brilliant tool that Specsvers has the exclusivity on for another 12 months!  The App scans your face and then recommends the frames to suit you!”

The developments certainly make the store look more spacious, welcoming and modern, especially with the new up-to-date technology.
