Getting Wild at the MS Therapy Centre
February 26th, 2013
On Friday 8 March The West of England MS Therapy Centre will be hosting a talk by Helen Mugridge called The Joy of Wildlife Photography . Everyone is welcome to attend this illustrated talk which starts at 7pm. Tickets are just £5 and all profits will be donated back to the charity.
Helen has held a lifelong love of the natural world first instilled by childhood walks with her parents. She has carried on her affinity with nature by first becoming an all-round naturalist and then using her photographic skills to record stunning images of the natural world.
Helen is giving the talk in memory of her late mother who benefited from the therapies offered at the Centre. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a terrifying and unpredictable illness for which there is no cure. Disability often appears from the onset and symptoms include constant pain, chronic fatigue and cognitive problems.
Founded in 1985, The West of England MS Therapy Centre offers a full range of therapies and support clinics combined with a social environment to combat isolation and depression. To book your place please call the Fundraising Team at The West of England MS Therapy Centre on 01454 628728 or email [email protected] The talk will be held at The West of England MS Therapy Centre, Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke BS32 9DB.
Plenty of parking is available, and refreshments will be offered during the interval. Tickets are limited so don t miss out!
