Great Turnout for Friends Life Tour of Britain CyclistsSeptember 10th, 2014
There was a great turnout on Winterbourne High Street earlier this afternoon as the Tour of Britain cyclists made their way to Bristol at the end of the fourth stage of the tour.
Having come through Iron Acton to Winterbourne the cyclists travelled down Beacon Lane, across to the A38 via Gypsy Patch Lane, where they went on to finish the day at the Downs in Bristol via the Portway.
Pupils from the Silverhill School and Elm Park Primary lined the route, and gave a good cheer!
