Half-term football camp aimed at teaching the next generation of stars

FootballBristol Academy Women’s Football Club is once again running a half-term camp for youngsters.

Following the October half-term camp that proved hugely popular with over 80 children attending, the team at SGS College are now running the week long training camp again, to both boys and girls aged from 6 to 16.

Vixen starts Natasha Harding and Angharad James will be holding the sessions; passing on tips and techniques to the next generation of players. This will include: ball mastery, small sided possession games and a five a side tournament.

Running from 17th  to 21st  February from 10am -3pm and costing £15 per day or £40 for three days, the camp is a great way for young people to say fit and learn from the best.

Lowri Williams, Organiser comments: “Our community programme is growing from strength to strength and the club now has Welsh senior international Natasha Harding on board as the clubs Community Ambassador.”

Natasha Harding added: “The camps offer a fun learning environment for football and allows participants to engage with first team players and build links with the community and potential Bristol Academy fans.”
