Help Jim Raise Funds for Parkinson’s Disease – This Sunday 15th May

An ex-committee member of Little Stoke Sports & Social Club, Mr Jim Brooks, is holding a charity fund raiser day on Sunday 15th May in aid of Parkinson s disease. The Club is supporting his efforts and providing the Club premises for this event.

Jim aims to get as many sponsors as possible by doing a sports marathon consisting of pool, darts & skittles, there will also be refreshments on sale and a BBQ.

This is a charity close to Jim s heart as he has suffered with this disease for quite some time now but remains very buoyant and as active as possible. We are told he was an irreplaceable member of the LSSC Committee for several years and also the Club ‘handyman where he turned his many talents to great use.

Do go along and support Jim and give him your encouragement, have a drink and a hotdog any time between 12-3pm on Sunday. It would really be appreciated!
