Help The Brightwell raise £10,000 towards the refurbishment of its community café

In the run up to Christmas the Brightwell in Bradley Stoke is going BIG!

The charity who provides therapy and support to those living with neurological conditions is taking part in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge.

The aim is to raise £10,000 towards the refurbishment of their café area. The 300 people who use the Centre have been very isolated during the pandemic and need a safe and welcoming place to help them have the confidence to get back out into the world.

The Big Give is a nationwide match funding initiative. During the week of 30th November to 7th December The Brightwell aims to raise £5,000 to unlock £5,000 of match funding kindly pledged by: The Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast, Dr Hardie and Mr Weston and The Medlock Charitable Trust.

Throughout the Challenge week The Brightwell will be inviting everyone to “drink one, donate one” – enjoy a hot drink and donate the cost of a hot drink to our #Cuppa4Christmas Big Give Christmas Challenge.  There will be fun events every day at the Centre in Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke all involving hot drinks (and cake!): delicious coffee will be provided by the fabulous local coffee company The Artisan Coffee Company www.artisancoffeeco.com

Full details of the events being held at the centre can be found below, everyone welcome.

If you are unable to attend any of the events and would like to donate the cost of a coffee to this worthy cause please scan the QR code below , or go to www.thebrightwell.org.uk/the-big-give and help them to provide a fully accessible safe space for the enjoyment of the whole local community.
