Host Families Needed – Can You Help?

The Chernobyl Children s Lifeline (Bristol Link) needs host families for children affected by the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster of 1986.

For the last 16 years this charity has been arranging for groups of 18 children to spend  four weeks respite holiday in this country, away from the poverty and the radioactive pollution of Belarus.   The charity arranges the flights and leaders/interpreters for the visit, as well as organising a whole range of outings, activities and visits during their stay, together with fresh food, fun and affection from staying with host families.

They are looking for more host families who could look after two children (aged 10-12) for two, or four weeks in July and August.
