Hosted by our churches: The great Harvest Bake off

The churches of Bradley Stoke Parish [Christ the King and Holy Trinity are inviting entries into our local community Bake Off, raising funds for Macmillan cancer support.

Inspired by Messy Church, there will be, as well as five categories of challenges to enter into our Bake Off, a fun filled afternoon of cake, community and church.

In our Bake Off style competition, entrants  are invited to enter their best cake in the following categories:

  • Set of six cupcakes,
  • Celebration cake (harvest theme,)
  • Loaf cake,
  • A cake made by /decorated by a child,
  • Your signature cake of choice.

The afternoon is free to enter, with a charge of just £1 per cake. All cakes will be sold to raise money for Macmillan. Prizes for the winning cakes!
Through the event, there will also be a range of activities with a Harvest theme and a baking theme including

  • Decorate your own biscuit
  • Make your own dough plait
  • Learn to ice a celebration cake!

In addition, the event will also offer a range of extra harvest themed activities for a small donation of 50p per person!

Free entry, Holy Trinity Church, Broad Croft, Bradley Stoke.
7th October @ 4pm-5:30pm.
