Industrial Action on Saturday 5 October

Some services provided by South Gloucestershire Council  could be affected by industrial action this Saturday (5 October).

Members of the Unison Union have voted for a further one-day strike in response to changes to council policies on enhancements and allowances paid to staff, which were  introduced on the  1st October.

The full impact of the action will not be known until Saturday but it is likely that library services will be affected.

The council is working to ensure that service disruption to the public is kept to a minimum.

Updates will be posted on the council s website at  www.southglos.gov.uk/industrialaction,  Twitter feed @sgloscouncil  and at www.facebook.com/sgloscouncil
